Corporate Associates - Hong Kong

Position: This leading international firm is seeking a number of mid to senior-level corporate associates for its Hong Kong office.

Company:  This elite firm ranked first in the Bloomberg M&A tables in Europe and second in the Bloomberg, Thomson and Dealogic M&A tables for 2008.  In its Asian offices, the firm's corporate and M&A practices are renowned and involve some of the largest and highly complex transactions, requiring in-depth knowledge of international and local business, legal and regulatory environments as well as a cultural understanding of the regional markets in the region. The Hong Kong office performs multi-jurisdictional work in tandem with other firm Asia offices, covering cross-border deals such as listing work for Chinese clients, inbound investment by international clients and outbound investment by Chinese companies.  

Requirements: Candidates must have three to five years of post-qualification experience in general commercial corporate matters at a top-tier firm. Fluency in Mandarin is essential, as well as practical experience handling general merger & acquisitions, private equity and I.P.O. matters. Candidates must also be capable of running transactions with minimal supervision.
