Real Estate Associate - Beijing

Position: Elite global law firm seeks an associate with extensive experience handling real estate matters at an international firm for its Beijing office.

The firm’s award-winning real estate department comprises one of the largest teams amongst the international law firms operating in China, and has expertise and practical deal experience in areas ranging from real estate finance and capital markets transactions, to joint ventures, to hotel and resort development and operations, to construction and development.

Requirements: Candidates must have substantial practical experience in real estate and asset-based lending from working as a mid to senior-level associate at a top-tier international law firm.  Candidates must be qualified to practice in the U.S., U.K., Hong Kong, Singapore and/or Australia, and have real deal expertise in real estate debt, equity and/or capital markets transactions. Native/Fluent English language skills are essential, along with strong communication and drafting skills and the ability to run deals and supervise junior associates. Candidates must be committed to remaining in the Asia region over the long-term. Possessing Chinese language skills, particularly in Mandarin, are advantageous.
